The Story Behind CleanCode – NA-Inspired Minimalist Recovery Clothing
The concept behind CleanCode’s NA Tee Shirt designs was born from Pete K’s personal journey through recovery and his deep connection to the Narcotics Anonymous (NA) program. But Pete also understood the stigma surrounding addiction and recovery. Outside the NA community, many people don’t fully understand what recovery means. Misconceptions and judgments are common, and for Pete, that meant keeping his recovery story private—something he shared only with close family and fellow NA members who truly understood.

The inspiration behind CleanCode’s aesthetic comes from the stripped-back visuals of 1990s electronic and techno music album art, underground rave culture, and fashion brands like Diesel.
